This Parental Consent Policy explains the permissions required when coaching, assessing, analysing, communicating with, and storing information relating to players under the age of 18.
By registering a player under the age of 18 for any service provided by LR Performance Coaching, the parent or legal guardian confirms their agreement to this policy.
Consent for Coaching Services
By enrolling a player under 18 years of age, the parent or guardian confirms that they:
- Have legal responsibility for the child.
- Give permission for the child to participate in coaching sessions, training programmes, and football development activities.
- Understand that all coaching is designed to support player development and does not guarantee selection, trials, scholarships, or professional contracts.
Online Coaching and Communication
For online coaching services, parents or guardians acknowledge and consent to:
- Coaching sessions being delivered via online platforms.
- Communication regarding coaching programmes, progress updates, and feedback.
- Reasonable contact between LR Performance Coaching and the player regarding coaching activities.
Where possible, parents are encouraged to supervise younger players during online sessions.
Match Footage and Performance Analysis
Parents or guardians consent to the submission and review of:
- Match footage
- Training videos
- Performance statistics
- Player assessments
Any footage provided will be used solely for coaching, development, and analysis purposes.
LR Performance Coaching will not share player footage with third parties without additional consent unless required by law.
Collection and Storage of Information
Parents or guardians acknowledge that LR Performance Coaching may collect and store:
- Player name
- Age and date of birth
- Contact details
- Emergency contact information
- Coaching records
- Assessment reports
- Training and performance data
All information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.
Photography and Promotional Content
From time to time, LR Performance Coaching may wish to use photographs, testimonials, success stories, or analysis examples for promotional purposes.
Separate permission will be sought before any identifiable image, video, testimonial, or player success story is used for marketing or promotional activity.
Parents may withdraw this consent at any time.
Health and Medical Information
Parents or guardians agree to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or other information that may affect participation in coaching activities.
